Kourounia

The village of Kourounia consists of four settlements (mahalades) and lies just behind the village of Egrigoros and about eighteen kilometers away from Volissos.   The region is famous for the production of a local wine called kourouniotiko, which is said to come from the well-known ‘Ariousian’ wine of the antiquity.
