To travel to neighbouring islands around Chios is a nice idea and definitely worth your while. But keep in mind that you should check the ferry schedules in one of the travel agencies of Chios City before you book a hotel in Lesvos, Samos or even Turkey. Because the schedules are changed regularly depending on the season so you cannot always count on the same timetable. Plus, the web sites are a bit messy (there are several different ferry companies, who all provide only the timetables of their own ferries, so you easily miss a great opportunity!).

So the sure way to get your desired ferry is through the travel agencies, which you can also call in case you cannot go there personally.

Besides this logistic matter, a little round trip across the Aegean Islands is a unique experience that you should not miss! All the Islands as well as Turkey of course, are unique and provide their own characteristic flair.
