The museum is housed in the 19th century mosque in the heart of Chios City. Its extensive collection covers a long period from the Christian times to the 17th century with sculptures and marble tombs from the Jewish cemetery and has been discovered on the island and donated from private collections.

It might not be the biggest museum you ever saw but nevertheless gives you an interesting insight in the rich history of Chios!
